There may be many things that you have to go through and many of these things will most likely be legal in nature. Make sure that you choose the lawyer whom you can trust with this very delicate matter.
Meet Up with Your Spouse and His/Her Lawyer-At this point, chances are that your spouse has already procured his/her own lawyer to deal with the divorce. Make sure to meet up with them to discuss several issues including financial matter as well as the custody of your children. Many things may need to be discussed and agreed upon like the settling the ownership of conjugal assets and even drafting a parenting plan for your kids.
