Outdoor grilling provides one of the best ways a man can show his culinary skills , we are but simple beasts , but when it comes to our outdoor grills we are gods . How appropriate the saying “never mess with another mans grill ” or you can have my wife and kids but please leave the grill. The outdoor grills is a social meeting place where men of all types can congregate around with a beer in their hand and tell of their exploits ,”of the one that got away ” or “how hard it is to be male these days” . It is a passage of birth and rights that we all aspire to be the best of the best when it comes to outdoor grilling. How many good men have we lost to the outdoor grill – one will never know , but we sleep tight at night in the comfort that when the sun rises tomorrow, another day will provide an opportunity for us to show why we were put on this planet – outdoor grills.

It is amazing how we transform from being “unable to cook dinner ” inside the house , but once the BBQ is fired up and smell of old flavors start wafting through the air , we transform into the outdoor grills expert , being able to cook , roasts , kebabs , vegetables and lately the more advanced and technical savvy male has ventured into the dark scary world of marinades , I’m positive that marinades did not exists before males decided to throw a few oils together with some spices and juices and create something that would change the way of grilling. Again throughout history we have seen some life altering changes instigated by men and creating the marinade for outdoor grills is definitely one that should be considered amongst the pinnacle of achievements for mankind.

The outdoor grills is a mans domain and at no point should this area ever be encroached upon by our better half’s, it is our little piece of paradise where we can get away from life’s problems and just enjoy life for what it is , outdoor grills should be recognized by people world wide as a somber place to relax , spin a few yarns with friends , enjoy a cold beer and most importantly , show the world that we really are capable of multi tasking and looking beyond more than one item in the cupboard with our man eyes on. Our skills at turning a prime piece of rump into a smoldering charcoal covered toughened chunk of food are legendary , and it is because of these skills with outdoor grills, that we can look back when we are older with a sense of pride and satisfaction that we “gave it our best shot”, this is something that we always remember when we outdoor grills.
